We got 12 pairs out of 25. We boxed up and shipped the ones that came in for customers last week. They're supposed to have the rest to me soon.

I have been very impressed with the entire Bates line, very well made, comfortable and hold up better than any of my other boots that I have bought or was issued (and I have beat some boots till they fell apart). I do not think that you will be disappointed with any of their boots. One thing that I would recommend is to look for something in a lighter color (the NC sun can heat up boots pretty quick, I spent 7 years there), I have had entirely to many black boots that just...

I really need a pair of good boots I can use for working(surveying/construction) and use them as field boots(hunting).

I'm eyeballing these:

8" Tropical SEALs DuraShocks

Would these be up to the task? (I sort of rule out the Law Enforcement/Postal/Security because I doubt they will survive the woods very well)
